n00bs not Normals sheeesh!!! Good article a little TLDR tho...

Ive been reading a lot lately about this generation, this new internet experience. The fact that their are less and less tech savvy people, more and more Facebook savvy people. Overall especially in the US, computer science majors and people who actually know whats going on are in the decline.

What does that leave you with? A crazy invasion of privacy.

I mean you can't even delete your facebook account... not that most would even think of doing that to stop their privacy issues. Buzz was incredibly hard to disable as well.

The providers of these sites want content exposed to enrich their base and their ability to market. This is at the consumers expense.

Why hire people to make content to sell advertising on, when you can rely on your customers to make your content?

People are exposing through these services today all the statistical information that used to be considered an invasion of privacy, when companies would try and track what your doing and what you like... now you do it for them.

Its hard to see how we got here, I never saw it coming, everyone is just consuming becoming less and less productive.

When farmville is worth 3 billion ? thats when you know its bad.
