Dude, you dumped goog! ouch.  It's so hard to play the game sometimes, i try and ignore the stock's up and down trends during the day for that same reason. I'll follow the ones i want to dump, and try to not freak out when one has dropped too much.

But on my busy days, i just end up with whatever the market closes at. .. kinda sucks sometimes.
 

I am thinking of re-starting the small game.  I already learned two things which killed me.

Number 1 I need to stick with small stocks, better ROI but larger risk,  buying 2 shares of $120 stock is stupid when it only gets you $10 on a HUGE increase.

#2, the fees kill you.  $27 bucks comission to actually move shit and $7 dollar trades?  wow..    I am down to like $300 and have hardly even moved anything around...  

What do you think?

 yeah dude, i would. It's all about penny stocks for that amount of money. I screwed up taking the risk on that silly jeans company, and it was only $19 a stock!

I have a co-worker or two who's interested in these games. I was going to start one or two games for some co-workers, but haven't got around to it. 

Dont seperate games please, lets make them part of ours or make new ones we play with them..  THe more people I can ask questions and watch the more I learn!

Oh, that's great dude! If it's ok with you, i'll invite them them. Besides, it will be interesting to see how people buy when they look at the gains and losses already on the table.  

BTW, what resources do you use?

I frequent Fool.com <- i'd pay the $30 to be a member if I started thinking about doing this irl.

Okay, I will make a new $500 game and link it here and as we migrate others over I will close the old one.

As for resources, I use zacks (zacks.com) marketwatch, and money on CNN..  I like to watch the evening news and try to prep the next day.   I read the wallstreet journal, yea.. nerd.
