Shutdown Day?
I honestly don't know if i can do this.. I actually may try it. .. although, I really don't see the point.
| It is obvious that people would find life extremely difficult without computers, maybe even impossible. If they disappeared for just one day, would we be able to cope? |
|
| Be a part of one of the biggest global experiments ever to take place on the internet. The idea behind the experiment is to find out how many people can go without a computer for one whole day, and what will happen if we all participate! |
|
| Shutdown your computer on this day and find out! Can you survive for 24 hours without your computer? |

You know r0Ach, i think you’re right. .. I mean, yes i can live without computers.. But why should I? I understand the concept, as to not let tech run your lives blah blah blah.
But that can be said about pretty much anything.
Screw Shutdown Day.

Damn skippy. You know you can live w/o computers, people have been doing it for thousands of years, no reason to cripple your day to day activities because of some chain-mail-spam, especially considering how your job revolves around computers.
There’s no satisfaction to be had for people in our positions should we go along with the ‘shutdown day.’ Now, the kids/teenagers who’s sole purpose in life is to play games/chat/myspacewhoring, they will get some benefit out of shutdown day.
there’s some irony here, but i can’t place my finger on it…
